Family Self-Sufficiency Program

Residents are eligible for the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program if they meet the following criteria:

• Resident of VIHA? If you’re part of any housing assistance program that VIHA runs, like Public Housing or getting help with your rent, you’re on the right track.
• Head of Your Household? You need to be the boss at home, the main person who makes decisions for your family in the FSS program.
• A Good Tenant? Make sure you’re following the rules of your housing agreement.
• Ready to Roll Up Your Sleeves? You should be eager to work towards making your life and finances better.
